દિલીપ કુમારના નિધનના સમાચાર બાદ ફિલ્મી સિતારાઓએ ભારે હ્રદય તેમની વિદાય પર શોક વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો.અક્ષય કુમાર, અજય દેવગણ અને જુનિયર એનટીઆર જેવા ભારતીય ફિલ્મી બિરાદરીના સભ્યોએ દિલીપ કુમાર, બૉલિવૂડના દિગ્ગજ અભિનેતા જેમનું મૂળ નામ મોહમ્મદ યુસુફ ખાન હતું તેમને આગવી રીતે યાદ કરી શ્રદ્ધાંજલી આપી હતી. નિધન પર શોક વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો. બુધવારે વહેલી સવારે તેમનું નિધન થયું હતું. દિલીપકુમારને 30 જૂને ઉંમરને કારણે સ્વાસ્થ્ય કથળતાં પીડી હિંદુજા હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. તેમનાં પત્ની સાયરા બાનુ ખાને અગાઉ તેની તબીબી સ્થિતિમાં સુધારણા અંગે ટ્વીટ કર્યું હતું. પરંતુ આ સ્થિતિ અલ્પજીવી રહી.
અભિનેતા અક્ષય કુમારે સવારે ટ્વીટ કરીને દિલીપકુમારને "ધ હીરો" કહ્યા હતા.
